Description:

The goal of this seminar is to assist attorneys in honing their deposition skills so as to better control witnesses and their adversary(s), while making their own client more comfortable. By sharing proven strategies, the program will give attendees an insight into how seasoned litigators and successful trial lawyers conduct depositions. The program further aims to help attorneys maximize the opportunities often wasted at depositions and in the process, maximize their chances of success in overall scheme of the lawsuit. This seminar integrates controlling law (case law, statute and Court Rules), practical concerns, and ethical considerations, as well as specific strategies to enable even the least experienced attorneys to successfully depose a witness like a seasoned pro.
